olYMPIC National Park Glamping site
I was brought on to design a custom glamping tent for a client operating within a national park, where durability, environmental sensitivity, and user experience all had to align. The concept centered around a black canvas exterior, giving the structure a bold, modern presence that contrasted with the natural surroundings.
The design featured sharp, clean lines that created a refined silhouette, pushing away from traditional tent forms toward something more architectural. I led the project from concept through fabrication, focusing on material selection, structural performance, and buildability. The result was a durable, weather resistant structure that delivered a high end experience while staying grounded in its environment.
